Geometric Triangles

£225.00

Bauhaus theorists viewed simple geometric forms as the core of natural, organic shapes.

This fused glass roundel uses a simple geometric shape in repeated instances but not in any order, so disorder within order.

This piece uses vivid transparent colours of individually cut pieces of glass which are then fused together in my kiln at approximately 800 degrees centigrade. Placed in a window or against a plain wall it refracts light from both outside and will project the colours inside.

The round fused glass artwork is 30cm round, and 6mm in depth and comes with its own stand.

Handmade in the UK in my Glass Studio in the Peak District.
